then i re-downloaded the SKIM v0.7.5.15 from the SK wiki page i linked here earlier, ran it, selected Tales of Berseria "Fix" from the product options and saw it install successfully. i also just tested completely uninstalling the game (and deleting the game folder to make sure there was nothing left over), then i reinstalled the game, launched it, and it launched fine (like it does for you without tbfix). The other programs you mentioned, rivatunner, nzxt cam, I don't think I have either. The d3d9.dll and tbfix.dll files are in the Berseria game folder too just as you asked me. I then reinstalled SKIM64 and ran Berseria again and it didn't work. I uninstalled SKIM64 just to see if the game would run without it and it worked. So I did have anti-virus and I uninstalled it but Tales of Berseria still won't start up. some apps or tools known to cause issues like this would be rivatunner, nzxt cam, or anti-virus.
